When Arizona was diagnosed her golf ball sized tumor was causing her imbalance in her gait and at one point became unresponsive after rolling down the hill outside playing. It was the most scary thing a parent could witness.
When the doctors told us about DIPG, they said due to the invasive nature of this tumor, it is inoperable and unaffected by chemotherapy. The only treatment that has consistently impacted this tumor is pinpoint radiation, followed by select clinical trials.
So far, Arizona has responded well to radiation and is doing better than expected. Unfortunately, our story is the exception; only < 10% of DIPG patients live beyond 24 months.

There are a lot of expenses related to extensive medical procedures, travel, lodging, childcare, food, and so much more. We have been very blessed by our community and strangers alike, but this fight isn't over and we continue to need your help.
We are asking for support to donate as much as you feel comfortable, and help our little girl who has yet to have a chance to live a full life in the short amount of time she has with us.
We will need an army of friends, family, co-workers, doctors, and even strangers to support Arizona on her journey.
If you do not feel comfortable donating money to her DIPG fundraiser, we are also looking for support in the following ways (click the links below):
